Abstract

The field of ICT offers significant potential for Philippine schools. The immediate challenge for ICT institutions is to elevate their standards to meet international benchmarks and ensure graduates achieve relevant certifications. Another critical task is establishing global connections with industry to produce professionals who meet market demands. ICT presents opportunities for Philippine technological schools to explore new horizons.
The internet has enabled schools to share libraries, educational resources, and even faculty with institutions worldwide. In research, the many-to-many nature of the internet has greatly enhanced collaborative efforts. ICT also allows Philippine technological schools to focus on software research and development, a less resource-intensive field where Filipino engineers can excel competitively.

Furthermore, computers and networks have demonstrated their effectiveness in enhancing teaching and learning processes, paving the way for improved educational outcomes.
