For the 38th Annual Scientific Meeting of the National Academy of Science and Technology Philippines, the Academy chose the theme Looking Back and Looking Forward. This annual activity of the Academy serves as the leading forum for the presentation of scientific and policy research that aims to review the past achievements and outline the needed reforms and activities to address current issues and concerns. Policy recommendations on appropriate interventions as agreed upon during the various meetings and plenary sessions were submitted to the Philippine government and the private sector for their consideration and action.
