ABSTRACT

Various education statistics suggest that the country is making improvements in providing access to children, whether in basic, technical-vocational or tertiary education. Despite these gains, the country needs to address a number of demand-side and supply-side issues that serve as barriers from ensuring that all children attain quality education and lifelong learning. With the emerging Fourth Industrial Revolution likely to have an impact on the nature of future work and the labor market, the trifocalized education system needs to work in sync, as well as with all education stakeholders, to ensure that human capital gets future ready.
